Hancock Partners Inc. was formed by Jerry DaBrescia, Ron DeLuca, Russell Bass, and Chris Gross in the winter of 2003. They were soon joined by Mike Argiros, Dave Theleman and Bruce Edwards. Hancock Partners, Inc. is a not for profit New York State Corporation dedicated to foster and promote the economic and social growth of the Greater Hancock, New York area. The 3 main goals of the Partnership are to promote:
Industry- Increase private & public investment in the community.
Tourism- Reduce vacant storefronts and to make local businesses more profitable
Beautification- Make Hancock more appealing to live in and shop.

The Hancock Partners will not supplant or replace any existing organization, but will strive to enhance them. Hancock Partners work hand in hand with the Hancock Chamber of Commerce, Village, Town, County as well as State and Federal Officials.

Hancock Partners is honored to be responsible for the Town Square project, the Main Street grant of 2008, the Hancock Fitness Trail, the Hancock NY Gateway signage program, the Blues, Brews and BBQ events in the Town Square and more. Hancock Partners is leading the front lines on economic and social growth development. Therefore, the Hancock Partners are proud to present HEDI, the Hancock Economic Development Initiative. HEDI was born out of the direct facilitation and collaboration with local governments and key community stake holders. A financial contribution by the George A. and Margaret Mee Charitable Foundation as well as the Hancock Town and Village secured necessary funding for an economic development director to implement the HEDI plan.

In addition to the HEDI plan, you can find the Hancock Partners applying for grant funding, planning future endeavors and supporting the community in tangible ways.
